The Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport Law Enforcement Division is operated by the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department Airport Unit. All deputies are trained and certified by the State of Michigan.

The Sheriff’s Department Airport Unit is responsible for airport and airfield security and law enforcement.

The Sheriff’s Department office is adjacent to the TSA checkpoint and is also used for I.D. badging, fingerprinting and lost & found.
